SCISSA Members Are 2008 WAITTA Finalists
SCISSA members are The WA Information Technology and Telecommunications Awards finalists for their work on the SIMPLE Forensic Project in partnership with WA Police Computer Crime Squad. The innovative tool uses a forensically sound, customised Linux bootable to enable Police to rapidly profile a suspects computer for illegal images. 2008 Orientation Day
University can be a little daunting and to assist you, ECU is providing support even before your classes start through they orientation program. The program includes a full range of free academic, support and social activities. To ensure that you are well prepared to meet the academic requirements for your course you should attend as many orientation activities as you can. go to the ECU Orientation Website for more information. 2008 ECU Careers and Employment Fair Coming Up
The 2008 ECU Careers and Employment Fair is coming up for students. The event will allow you to speak to a broad range of locally, nationally and internationally based employers about their graduate employment opportunities and recruiting processes. The fair will be held on Monday the 31st of March at the ECU Joondalup Campus in Building 32. There will be free transport from Mount Lawley Campus. If your a Final year student you should definitely attend but all students at any level are welcome. Welcome SCISSA Members to 2008, I hope you’ve had a great holiday so far. We’ve had the 2008 SCISSA AGM as per the email that went out a couple of days ago said. We’ve updated the committee section of the About page and we’ve upload the rest of the Meeting Minutes for 2007.
