It’s time for more of that SCISSA ™ brand drunken nerd love we call the end of exam party! Yes, this semester has flown by in a giant ball of stress but we’ll be chillaxing in much the same style as last semester, with kegs, DJs and probably another intoxicated Nintendo DS LAN on Friday the 22nd of June.

The event will be a cheaper-than-ever $5 for members and $15 with a free membership for those who don’t already have one. How’s that for a cunning ploy to raise membership! We’ll be hosting the event in the old Black Hole Theatre this semester, just near the student housing. Check the posters around uni for more info.

This year SCISSA will be celebrating Towel Day, a yearly tribute to Douglas Adams. We will be running a marathon of the 1981 BBC series of Hitchhiker’s Guide to The Galaxy in 03.201 at Mount Lawley. Make sure to bring your favourite Towel!

Good evening internets, after much careful consideration SCISSA has decided to get drunk and play some pool.

We’ll be heading down to the Pot Black in North Perth (near the Rosemount hotel) at around 7:30. There is also a bowling alley upstairs but we don’t have a booking so getting a lane may involve subterfuge.

Afterwards we may go to Perth or similar. Anywhere with booze is good.
